We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic communications volunteers to join our team. Successful candidates will assist in developing and implementing communication strategies to increase our visibility and engagement with our audience.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in communications, social media management, and public relations within a dynamic and impactful organization.
Currently, we are accepting applications to join our Discord Moderation / Events Team, Social Media Team, and Newsletter Team.
Newsletter Team
Write articles about Canadian politics and civics.
Social Media
Create graphics, reels, and stories to engage young Canadians in democracy.
Conduct research in making these posts.
Discord Moderation / Events Team Responsibilities:
Support the organization of virtual events and webinars on our Discord server.
Moderate to ensure constructive conversations.
Qualifications:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with social media platforms and content creation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Passion for politics and youth engagement.
Must agree to confidentiality and privacy agreement.
