As a Member, you have the opportunity to vote on national youth issues, gain access to political engagements in Canada and be an active member of a national force.
Not only will you have the opportunity to be involved in a network of Canadian politics, but you can actively use your newly-refined expertise and experiences you've gained to affect our democracy. Our initiatives give you an opportunity to show your skills in front of major audiences across the country.
Roles
Volunteers
Opportunities for students 14-24 to volunteer on campaigns and with the YPC.
Taking initiative on policies, inter-organization projects and youth advocacy.
Ambassadors/Placements
Placements within politicians offices as Ambassador to the YPC.
Lead regional initiatives for YPC issues, meet with Members of Parliament, represent the YPC in offices of MPs, MLAs, MPPs, and City Councillors and Advocates.
Provincial Councils
Lead decision-making for the respective province.
Assist Chapter Chairs with Chapter and initiatives.
Engage and empower young prospective members provincially.
National Board
Direct and advise the direction of the organization.
Support all levels of the YPC and work with them to engage with public policy.
Advisors
Work with National Board to advise the direction of the organization.
Coordinate with National Board to assist in governing the YPC.
