National Board
Our National Board supports the members of our organization. The Board liaises with our Youth Ambassadors and Provincial Chapters on political issues emerging within the House of Commons. We work to consider ways the government can support young Canadians in law and political initiatives.
The YPC National Board will create position papers for submission to the Canadian government that will reflect a Canadian youth perspective on current legislation and policy.
The National Board of the YPC is a vibrant and collaborative team united by a common commitment to effect positive change to shape the nation's political landscape. Members engage in multifaceted activities that encapsulate their responsibilities, involving a meticulous and dedicated approach to crafting and refining bills that address the evolving needs of Canadian society.
Board Members (Voting)
Voting Board Members hold pivotal roles within the National Board, possessing the authority to set strategic goals, making critical decisions on organizational matters, and providing oversight on the implementation of the YPC's mission and initiatives. They are instrumental in guiding the organization's strategic vision, approving budgets, and ensuring that the YPC operates effectively and in alignment with its mission statement.
Board Members (Non-Voting)
Non-Voting Board Members play crucial supporting roles for the National Board, overseeing key committees and contributing to the operational framework necessary to advance the YPC's mission statement. Their responsibilities include managing essential committees, coordinating with all board members on strategic initiatives, and ensuring the effective implementation of programs and policies.
